Tate asked … but is it relevant? to assist with the addition of new functionality to their Venda eCommerce site.
Although some initial work had previously been undertaken, that work had considered the new functionality as totally separate from the existing shop. Elisabeth worked with the team at Tate and with developers at Onstate to redesign the structure so that new features would be much more integrated with the existing site, with the objective of increasing cross-sell opportunities between the old and new types of product. She then project managed the implementation as well as supporting product data set-up and performing user acceptance testing.
While at Tate, Elisabeth advised on other developments, notably improving the site navigation and specifying gift wrap implementation in order that the site would be better able to meet the needs of visitors purchasing items as presents. She also assisted in the specification and managed the delivery of a number of enhancements to site usability and to increasing the appeal of the offer, including highlighting products that are exclusive to Tate.
